What Does this MRI Scan Result Mean?

My MRI Impression are:

1)schmorl's nodes are seen involving both superior and inferior enplates of multiple vertebral bodies.
2)L4-5 intervertebral disc shows annular tear with diffuse posterior bulge. It indents the thecal sac and causes bilateral foraminal stenosis ( left> right) compressing L4 exiting nerve roots.
3) screening of the cervical and dorsal spine reveals loss of cervical lordosis.

please explain problem and remedy for this.

Thanks

Welcome to health care magic.

1.Schmorl's nodes are called when small portion of the disc is seen herniated in to the vertebral body, can be superiorly or inferiorly - which does not need any action.
2.L4-5 intervertebral shows peripheral portion of the disc tear - called as annular tear.
3.The bulge of disc seen diffusely and causing pressure effect on the spinal chord and the nerves passing through the foramen.
4.Spine is seen loss of normal lumbar lordosis - could be due to nerve irritation the muscles straightening is seen.
5.The remedy is to do back exercises initially - that will help. Followed by physiotherapy.
6.Annular tear might need interventional procedure to treat.

Good luck.
